Fredrick Wangabo Mwenengabo, then a week into his hunger strike was feeling weak and tired, as he lays in the room he’s been living in for the duration of the strike, at a friend’s home. Fredrick has now marked one full month of hunger striking on April 4, in his fight for the Canadian government to hear the voices of millions murdered in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and for Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper to boycott the October Francophonie summit in Kinshasa.
